Story: As a young teenager, Rommel began noticing the fine art of heavy metal rhythm and lead guitar. Not able to afford formal guitar lessons, Rommel decided to learn on his own and relied on guitar magazines and tutelage from experienced local guitarists. While most local teens were involved in sports, Rommel's increasing musical talent and interest in high-tech gadgetry overshadowed everything else in his life and would later evolved into the need to integrate the analytical of engineering with the organics of sound into musical sculptures.

Shortly after high school, Rommel chose electrical engineering school where he was able to further satisfy his left-brain's insatiable appetite. Once he completed his bachelors degree, he began his electrical engineering career with a firm in Houston and later wireless communications and personal communication service networks locally. Recently, in an effort to advance his academic credentials, he earned his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering in December 2003.

At the present time, Rommel is experimenting with the integration of his musical creations with thoughts, images, emotions and visions that are invoked by theorizing on celestial phenomena. Always exploring new guitar skills, writing music, studying engineering and music theory, Rommel stays true to his two passions, guitars and engineering.
