This past weekend Static Limit went back to MP Recording in Weslaco, TX to officially begin mixing the drums tracks. Here's a short note from Rom:
"Hi everyone, letting you all know that we are hard at work in our efforts to completing ATAM. Drum mixing officially began a couple of days ago with the help of drum mixing extraordinaire Joe Leal Jr. from MP Recording. As far as any more tracking, we are just about done, we just have few more synth patches to tweak here and there and samples to create. Thank you all for sticking with us, ATAM will be done and in your hands, ears and head in due time. Happy New Year 2011! This Static Limit update brings us news about the guitar and bass tracks for "A Thing About Machines". Here's a short note from Jay:
"Hope 2010 was good for you as it has been for us. Quick update: We are in the final stages of putting our album together. All guitars are done, I have about four songs to complete on bass and Rom is finalizing synth patches before we can mix. Stay tuned because Mar is putting together a video of me recording as well as updating the website. We have some big goals for 2011, which include live shows, so please spread the word."
